Course Breakdown

  • Section 1 is 7 hours of instruction/activities that explain how to understand financial models. It goes over the purpose, financial feasibility, terminology, model components, and financial relationships. After completing this section you should be able to communicate the financial matters of a project by reading and referencing its financial model. (available)

  • Section 2 is 17 hours of instruction/activities that show you how to run financial models for various housing types, various construction types, and various financing structures. After completing this section you should be able to run a financial model for all common and some less common situations. (available)

  • Section 3 will be ~12 hours of instruction/activities that walk you through the intricacies of creating and updated financial models. After completing this section you will be armed with dozens of best practices and technical solutions for your organization's modeling needs. (under development)
